Love my shoes, I wear them to work and I’m on my feet for 8 hours, so comfortable.

Love them. I wear them for walking in winter as if they get wet or muddy they are easy to clean and I don’t have to get my white pair dirty.
Super comfortable and look more like regular trainers than most barefoot shoes.
I reeeaally love this shoe with one caveat - the raised collar at the back is the perfect height to cause blisters. I'm happy to bandaid my ankles to prevent it going forward, but I would avoid this style in the future.
Amazing shoes. They’re buttery and the toe box is roomy. Always feel comfortable on them. I bought the black ones for my husband . He literally wears them everyday.

These are the second pair of shoes I have bought from PK. I was previously having alot of foot pain from conventional pointed shoes, but after wearing exclusively PKs (and thongs) my feet healed and feel great. Much love for Paper Krane and their team. I was initially sus on purchasing a shoe with fake leather as IMO they don't tend to last as long. I've been pleasantly surprised with this material, it feels thick and tough. I haven't had any issues over the last 2 months. I do think the vegan leather is not as malleable as genuine leather and take longer to break in, BUT they're sill very flexible when fresh out of the bag. Only issues I've had is the air holes at the end aren't quite punctured through all the way and can be a little warm in the summer, but in contrast I've appreciated them keeping my feet dry in the rain. I'm also not a fan of the new innersole, it's too thick for me and makes the shoe too narrow, but I really enjoy wearing the shoe without it as there is slight padding in the bottom. I have a 25.5cm foot and decided to go up a size to 41 for a little more toe room. Initially they felt long, but after breaking them in and the toe curls back a bit they feel great. I wear them to work every day. Thank you Pk!
My feet are just not the right shape for a fully comfortable barefoot shoe. I measured as instructed but the slope away of the front of the shoe is too steep for my toes. 3rd toe get a little rub on the front but next size up would be too big. Customer service (Daya) was fantastic in helping me and we agree I have the right size. They are definitely wearable but just a little disappointed for my right foot fit. I need a barefoot shoe store where I can try on in store I think.

Note: My experience is regarding the previous version of the Black Lows, which I believe are natural leather vs. the new version which is their lux synthetic leather. Paperkrane have some unique styles, and I'm happy to have had the opportunity to pick a pair up during their holiday sale. I really like the look of these shoes. I've been using these for work in a healthcare / university environment where comfortable, wipeable, closed-toe shoes are a must have. When ordering, I went by the size chart which put me a size lower than I usually take, but it ended up working out just fine. My feet are both about 26cm and I ordered a size 41. The shoes fit perfectly. The new sole width is excellent and the last fits my foot shape. These shoes are on par with some of the comfiest barefoot shoe brands I've tried. They roll well with each step and have the right amount of squish with the removable insole in. Haven't had any foot pain after a day on the floor. Much of the shoe is single stitched, which initially had me worried but I think there are some redundancies in construction as there seems to be a liner in the toe box. And it does have a stitched sole which is something I look for. Two weeks in, so far so good. I really hope that paperkrane keep making some of their shoes out of natural leather. Cheers.
