FIRST THINGS FIRST — WHAT ARE BAREFOOT SHOES?

Barefoot shoes are designed to let your feet move the way they were actually built to. No chunky heel raises. No narrow toe boxes squishing your toes together. No thick rigid soles cutting off your foot's natural connection with the ground.

Every PaperKrane shoe is built around four non-negotiables we call The Four F's:

  • ⚡ Flexible — bends and moves with your foot, not against it
  • 🪶 Featherlight — won't weigh you down or fatigue your feet

Great question. Because we didn't just make barefoot shoes — we made barefoot shoes that are bright, bold, and un-apologetically themselves. Australian designed, every single one of them.

Our designs are limited, colourful, and built to make people stop and stare (in the best possible way). From vivid printed leathers to our iconic rainbow soles, PaperKrane exists to prove that foot health and serious style were never mutually exclusive. Not even a little bit.

 

THE SIGNATURE STYLE— WHERE IT ALL STARTED

Every brand has an OG. Ours is the Signature Style — our origami-construction boot that started the whole thing. It's literally named the Signature because that's exactly what it is: the style that defined PaperKrane, still going strong, still impossible to scroll past!

🌈 THE RAINBOW SOLE — OUR MOST ICONIC DETAIL

HOW PK DROPS WORK — READ THIS BEFORE YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH SOMETHING

Okay, this part is important. PaperKrane operates on a limited drop model — most of our colourways and designs are made in limited quantities, and once they sell out, they're gone for good. Occasionally a fan favourite will find its way back, sometimes with a little refresh or a new twist, but we can't promise it...and we'd never bet on it. So when you see something you love? Don't wait around!
