Here at PaperKrane, we are constantly chasing the perfect balance: shoes that look incredibly fun, but feel like absolute clouds on your feet. (Without the cushioning of course!) We’re pretty staunch on the idea that you shouldn't have to sacrifice foot health for style, and you shouldn't have to deal with stiff, rigid materials just to get a fun pop of colour.

On Friday, October 23rd at 8pm AEDT, we are dropping two brand new styles that have sparked a serious debate at PK HQ... Are these the softest styles we've ever released?

Let’s introduce you to the Minty Lows and the Pinky MJs, and let you decide.

THE SHARED DNA: Sparkles, Suede, and Teal Soles

What connects these two distinct styles is their foundation. Both the Minty Lows and Pinky MJs are built on our vibrant teal, foot-shaped soles. This means zero drop, total flexibility, super light construction, and a wide anatomical toe box that allows your feet to move and splay exactly how nature intended.

Inside, both shoes feature a non-removable micro suede insole, providing a velvety foundation for your foot to rest on.

But the real star of the show? The uppers. Both styles show off a super soft, slightly glittery pink leather. It’s durable enough for daily wear but so supple that it requires zero break-in time.

DEEP DIVE: The Minty Lows

For sneaker fans, the Minty Lows are a sensory delight. We took that soft, sparkly pink leather and paired it with buttery-soft mint suede paneling.

To take the comfort to the next level, we lined the interior with a plush, purple terry cotton. Sliding your foot into these feels less like putting on a shoe and more like slipping into your favourite cozy bathrobe. Finished with wide, flat mint laces for a secure, adjustable fit, the Minty Lows are available from EU 31 all the way up to an EU 44.

DEEP DIVE: The Pinky MJs

If Mary Janes are more your speed, the Pinky MJs take that same glittery pink leather and shape it into a high-volume, incredibly accommodating style. (If you’ve been around a while you’ll remember the Bubblegum MJs… these are an ode to those on our updated sole.)

The secret weapon of the Pinky MJs is the wide, mint green elastic band across the top of the foot. It provides a secure hold without digging in, adapting to your foot's natural movement. Paired with a soft lining, these MJs wrap around your foot like a glove, and you’ll never have to worry about breaking in the heels of these ballet flats. The Pinky MJs are available from EU 24 up to an EU 43. Hello matchy matchy!

FIT TIP: If you have feet on the narrow or lower side, pairing this style with one of our removable insoles is recommended.

THE VERDICT
